I plan to have both fortigates in HA A/P and version 7.0.9.Cisco Secure Endpoint and FortiClient are two useful solutions for running a network in a much easier way without risking the network. But in the post it says that there is no limit. Not sure if I understand, but a sale colleague told me that the customer have a license for only 10 clients for the Forticlient. The downside is of course that I will not be able to use features such as AV, web filtering etc.ĭoes that also mean that from the client perspective, so from the Fortclient, I do not need to have a license in order to connect to the VPN? Logically, I do not need to have a license.Īnother thing is that I read this post from fortinet community and someone there commented that there is no limit on Fortigate how many VPN clients (IPsec/SSL VPN) can connect to it.
I read that it is doable to setup a SSL VPN without the firewalls have any licenses/subscription, basically, there are no licenses requirements for setting up SSL VPN (using Forticlient) and also IPsec tunnel. I will be setting up two FG-200F to a customer of ours.
